COLLABORATION ON CORAL BLEACHING (JULY 2016)

Numerous citizen science programs are helping volunteers collect valuable data about the health of coral reefs during the largest global coral bleaching event on record. Yet this remained a challenging topic to help communities understand.

The Great Barrier Reef Marine Park Authority, CoralWatch and Reef Check Australia teamed up to consolidate data summaries, provide basic interpretation and help deliver streamlined messaging on this complex issue.
